Pasada Pantry is one of the flagship humanitarian and community outreach initiatives of the Rotaract Club of Tacloban , dedicated to recognizing and supporting the hardworking public utility drivers who keep communities moving every day. Inspired by the spirit of bayanihan , the project provides free meals, refreshments, and essential goods to drivers as a simple gesture of gratitude for their dedication and service, especially amid economic challenges. Launched in Tacloban City , Pasada Pantry quickly grew into a multi-city initiative, demonstrating how a local project can inspire collective action across the country. Guided by Rotary's commitment to disease prevention and community health, the project aims to cultivate a culture of regular blood donation while educating the public about the life-saving impact of becoming a voluntary blood donor. Blood remains one of the most critical yet irreplaceable resources in healthcare. On September 20, 2025, along the shores of Red Beach, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban, in partnership with Sangguniang Kabataan Luntad and Baras, came together for a meaningful Coastal Cleanup Drive in celebration of World Coastal Cleanup Day while also commemorating the 57th Anniversary of the First Rotaract Club in the Philippines.
