End Polio Now: Every Drop Counts

End Polio Now is one of the Rotary movement's signature global initiatives, and the Rotaract Club of Tacloban proudly supports this mission by actively participating in advocacy campaigns and immunization activities aimed at eradicating polio. As part of Rotary International's decades-long commitment to ending the disease, the club joins fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, healthcare professionals, and community partners in promoting awareness and strengthening immunization efforts within local communities.


One of the club's major contributions to this global campaign is its participation in the Patak Polio Area Activity, where members volunteer their time and effort to support the administration of oral polio vaccines to eligible children. The initiative highlights the importance of immunization in protecting future generations from a disease that is entirely preventable through vaccination. By working alongside government health agencies and Rotary partners, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban helps ensure that more children receive life-saving vaccines while educating families on the importance of completing routine immunizations.

Beyond the vaccination campaign itself, the initiative serves as an opportunity to raise public awareness about the continued fight against polio.
